My Boys

For Christmas, I got a small softbox to use with my SB600 or SB900 flashes. I haven't had much opportunity to play with it, so decided tonight I would get it out and try some "stuff".

I had Dan holding a white reflector and Joe near the softbox. I love that the softbox has more control on the light around the edges than an umbrella does.

I struggled getting enough power to make the shot the way I wanted and only realized a few days later that I had the flash offset to -3.0EV. Oops...

Lesson learned, and although the boys are smiling nicely here... they were so DONE with my taking pictures. I love these two, they are such troopers, so self sacrificing for the sake of art! Thanks, guys! I love you!
